Donald R. Yert began his insurance career in 1968. Feeling the people of Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lake counties needed a new type of full lines person-to-person insurance agency and armed only with his degree from Ohio State University in marketing, he founded the DRY Insurance Agency Inc. in 1977.

Don is active in many business and civic affairs but is particularly involved with the Gilmour Academy Mens Sports Program Board.
